Open Access Policy

Sapiens in Health Sciences (SHS) operates under an Open Access publishing model and is published under a scientific, interdisciplinary, and non-profit framework with the purpose of strengthening, disseminating, and applying knowledge in the health sciences.

All content published by the journal is distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), which permits free, immediate, permanent, and unrestricted access to articles, including reading, downloading, copying, distributing, printing, reusing, adapting, and reproducing content in any medium or format, including for commercial purposes, provided appropriate credit is given to the authors and the original source of publication.

Authors retain copyright of their work and grant the journal the right of first publication. Furthermore, the deposit, dissemination, and self-archiving of the published version in institutional and subject repositories, personal websites, academic social networks, and other scientific preservation and dissemination systems are permitted.

Sapiens in Health Sciences does not charge submission, evaluation, processing, or publication fees (Article Processing Charges – APCs).
